# Astro Explorer: Retroactive Funding for a Proven Algorand Gaming Platform and Open-Source Handoff

This proposal requests 200,000 ALGO in retroactive funding recognizing the development and operation of Astro Explorer, a community arcade platform that has delivered approximately one million gameplays over three years across six production games built on a custom Java-based engine. Astro Explorer represents several years of development and real-world usage on Algorand. The platform consists of a shared arcade engine and multiple interoperable games demonstrating wallet interaction, NFT-based mechanics, and on-chain gameplay patterns.
