I always liked the governance program, but how many times more do we have to vote on the same exact topic? NFT and DeFi rewards are being voted on for the last what, 4 periods? Meanwhile every time rewards from nodes are being asked and keep getting ignored.
I feel a little let down by the meaningful…

Agree with @thezec, it’s time for node running incentives if we want to distinguish ourselves as a Top10 blockchain. Even with small incentives, ~1-5M ALGO we can boost the validators to a number higher than 99% of other chains. Come on ppl

I’m also in this camp. Make node setup noob friendly, than tie governance to it. If you cannot run your node, join through some protocol like Folks Finance.

Algorand Testnet Outage

On July 8th, Algorand’s Testnet was stalled from approximately 12:15 PM ET until approximately 5:15 PM ET when it resumed normal operation.

Impact

No tokens, records, etc were lost, and the protocol behaved as expected.

Root Cause

A bug in code populating an in-process cache led to the stall.
