Feedback on UI/UX

Hi, Wanted to drop my feedback for the UI/UX - This will be specific to the mobile view of the site. The UI/design feedback is personal preference and should of course be taken as that. Some of the UX feedback is based on personal experience and experience of building and then fixing UI on CompX.

GP14 DeFi Rewards (TDR) Proposal - Folks Finance

‘Folks Finance is also collecting community interest in distributing Folks Finance TDR rewards as xALGO. This will help users become more familiar with LST solutions (can be applied to any protocols)’ I’d give this idea a resounding ‘no’.

GP14 DeFi Rewards (TDR) Proposal - CompX

We’ve update the proposal to remove the ALGO staking incentives and redistribute that 30k elsewhere following community feedback and assessing the other liquid staking provider TDR allocations.

Thanks man, appreciate the comments. I largely agree with your sentiments on TDR, especially in this final* chapter. With that, I’ll address your main questions:

Lockdrop user incentives - so I wanted to assign rewards to lockdrop holders as they are technical holders of the incentivised lp token.

XUSD /algo will be incentivised on both tinyman and pact via various means. We are targeting multiple xUSD liquidity sources, notable many which have higher liquidity than our algo pool. xUSD doesn’t live or die by one pool - I mean a few months back it was the USDC pool that was the be all and end all.

It’s not an abuse of funds. It’s a reward to target our DeFi - specifically to incentivise people to stake their algo with us - what they do with the cALGO is up to them. Every lst provider is doing the exact same thing - folks did it last quarter too.

We’re not incentivising holding cALGO - the 30k is provided to those that stake their ALGO into our consensus ready node.

Hey thanks for the comments. The thoughts on x-nft are in some ways justified but x-nft has been relaunched on CompX last week, a new collection coming end of this month and more use cases for it as a whole. We want to build a solid liquidity position for the token - providing incentives will help.

Contracts are set up and can be verified. UI is on its way which will allow standard testing. Any issues/comments etc please raise in GitHub.

Design Notes - xUSD Dynamic Interest

Feels like two issues: Market Panic: Depending on the type panic we’re seeing we have a number of levers we can use, and more coming to help stabilise prices of xUSD. Additional liquidity, interest rate adjustments, vault configurations etc. Really will depend on the problem at the time.

Correct! Interest only increases as the peg moves below $1 - at $1 and above the base rate is all that is applied.

If you wanted to keep your token positions at a specific ratio. Wanted easy access to a number of assets in one go. For sure you could do the swaps and/or balancing yourself but it’s the convenience factor firstly. These bundles open up the door for further additions - DCA, LSTs etc.

Research: Investigating dominant pools in swap routers

Some initial findings - small sample size, only 80 swaps but figured I’d share the top 10 pools (ignore the ‘hash’ value - it’s just for sorting)

{
  "hash": 2089807854,
  "pool": "fUSDC / fALGO",
  "count": 23
},
{
  "hash": 3603482141,
  "pool": "ALGO / chip",
  "count": 19
},
