Transparency in algo blockchain / algo foundation
Hi, is there any way how transparency can be improved? According to current stats there is 449 algo millionaires … Most of them most probably received funds from algo foundation, and some of them really bought it for million usd… I do not have anything against those who invest into algo, but the f…
Algorand hasn't solved blockchain trilemma
What algorand promised was it would solve the blockchain trilemma but it’s still stuck and it still has some tradeoff in exchange for speed and security. Relay nodes are still centralised by algorand and anything that requires permission on Decentralised ledger isn’t Decentralised. Relay nodes still…
It is centralized by different way… The relay node runners has received 1B algos per six months… The early distribution is very corrupt and few people has more than half of the algos… Even with the “decentralized” governance the decision making will be made by few people, and if they have to decide …
Getting application arguments as ints in TEAL
Hi @xonack, You should convert your argument using the btoi opcode. It does exactly what you want: converts bytes passed as big endian through app call arguments to uint64.
Are you sure the passphrase is for the correct account, namely SJQOZU6RYTAEUN4SGZWWR4DTAPO4ELGC6CM4AX2S4TA5KFBJXLPQGAMWT4? You can run: my_address = mnemonic.to_public_key(passphrase) print("My address: {}".format(my_address))
Atomic Transfer with token swap + ASC1 modification
We have couple of examples of group transaction in Algo Builder (a high level framework for managing Algorand projects and smart contracts). Here, for example you have a group of 3 transactions of our Bond Smart Contracts, where the first tx is Algo payment, second is ASA transfer, and the last one …
Algodex is in the works - https://about.algodex.com/ That’s the only one that I’m aware of at this point.
We are actively working on UniSwap for Algorand. We believe that we have fully working product. https://asaswap.ulam.io/
Indeed, this page is outdated. Just opened an issue: Add new transaction types · Issue #507 · algorand/docs · GitHub Application calls are described in the reference section: Transaction Reference - Algorand Developer Portal Update of an application is described there: Overview - Algorand Developer Portal
Yes, you can group any transactions in an atomic transfer. The only constraints are:
- you can group at most 16 transactions
- each transaction must be valid on their own (except for the fees that are pooled)
should the Algorand Marketing Team not be on top of securing domains, usage of Silvio’s images etc. to protect potential supports? there are daily YouTube channels using Silvio’s figure head which is damaging to the image of Algorand.
Hi, Just want to throw this idea out here, in case it has not been broached before… As I understand it, individual Algos held in wallets that are committed to or associated with (not sure of the correct terminology) any participation node are eligible to randomly participate in consensus for each …
AlgoRealm is a solution in which I showed how you can combine ASA with Stateful and Stateless ASC1 to extend ASA properties to embed royalties into a NFT. This specific example makes use of a Stateful ASC1 to track dynamic properties of two NFTs (latest amount of donation and the nickname of the don…
