How to create a custom indexer?

Is querying the default indexer “the” approach to build a custom indexer? It’s something that would work for me too, just wondering about all the possible options.

I just got this error too, for the address-role parameter. After browsing a while, found that it was added to the disabled params here: Disable Parameters in REST API (#892) · algorand/indexer@1216e79 · GitHub It would be helpful if this was added to the release notes - there’s no mention of it.

Oh, replying to my first question, I briefly forgot the fee pooling - another transaction in the group could be paying the fee. This explains the <= min fee check. Which answers my second question probably, all my lsig transactions have a 0 fee because other transaction in the group pays their fee.…

Missed to ask: why do we allow fee < min fee? Probably because it’s not a security issue? Any reason to not assert fee == min fee?
Also, fee <= min fee or fee == min fee would fail if the transaction has a calculated fee (size * fee per byte) and it’s > min fee, how to handle that?

Can't build node from source

Followed the instructions to build a node for MacOS: GitHub - algorand/go-algorand: Algorand's official implementation in Go. When running make install, it can’t find a c++ header:
