Custom Token on Algorand

Everything you implement on top of Algorand is PoS since the consensus is at consensus level. If the transaction is added to the blockchain it means that the PoS protocol found the transaction valid. Then, your token implementation will interpret the transactions that were added to the blockchain.

xGov-122: Fast Cometa & New Features

Probably, that makes sense. But we want either to grow fast or not do that at all. We have much to offer to the community and we want to see that they are interested.

Proof of Transaction, Fees and SoV

Hello leaf, mainly control over setting the base fee for juicing transactions and thus setting the tps of Algorand. Here’s the GitHub repo of the contract:

He said there was no DAO roadmap as it was open sourced so the community can contribute and help form it.

Yeah there’s companies selling mushroom grow kits that’s not a surprise. It’s a sector that’s pretty much brand new. When you say mushrooms to the general public, people's minds go to one place, and that’s magic mushrooms. This company will be offering way more in-depth lessons of how to grow fungi.

xGov-100 - GPU-Based Vanity Address Generator for Algorand

The point of the vanity generator isn’t to generate private keys for any account you like but to generate it for a reasonable length (depends on the available hardware) prefix. You can either use a CPU generator or a GPU generator. My proposal here is to bring the GPU generator as a choice because I think.

Thanks for your feedback! I want to say a few things:

A key outcome this on-chain directory is intended to address is making the data permanent, because as other Web2 directories shut down, I think no directory at all is worse than a "messy" directory.

The vouching protocol should dampen spam and build trust.

You mean 1 month, correct? Saying ‘ms’ is not too transparent.

My point is, those who need a simple vanity address can easily create one. This tool is for:

  1. People who want Vanity Addresses
  2. Have a computer with GPUs
  3. Are familiar with terminal commands
  4. Prefer this tool over basic SDK

I like the idea, but one thing that I think needs addressing is that in a completely decentralized/permissionless system, there is the problem of outright scams getting through. If there is no mechanism for dealing with scams, then I think the directory loses trust and usage.

We’ll show the whole balance of your wallet at the very least. We want to show as few details as possible, the current platform interfaces are overloaded in my opinion and not everything is actually as useful as it seems. What are the most important criteria for a good tracker for you?

"Improved" also means cheaper, and I think that is one of the most important points. We don’t have plans to make everything the best quality right from the start. We want to make DeFi more convenient and affordable for everybody overall, and we’re expanding the platform to be truly the Community Driven.

There will be a flat fee for the lock pools and a mixed fee for the airdrop pools. And sure thing for locked pools it will be cheaper than Vestige right now, which is also one of the outcomes we’re targeting — competition makes prices lower for everybody.

Regarding monetization: How would the pools be monetized? Would you write the vault smart contracts yourself or use the open source and audited Vestige contracts? If you don’t plan to use the existing Vestige contracts why not?

No, creating random tokens and sending them outside of the reserve wallet doesn’t increase TVL. As TVL is mainly a metric managed by platforms like Chaintrail or DefiLlama (who integrate what’s out there).

Creating a tokenized grain like SOYB does have a dollarized value against it

We’re planning to show the underlying tokenized transactions in a feed similar to our NFT Recent Sales.
