Hi all! We are submitting this proposal for Use-Wallet maintenance. Use-Wallet is an open-source, framework-agnostic wallet integration library maintained by TxnLab. It enables Algorand dApps to seamlessly integrate with multiple wallets including Pera, Defly, Exodus, Lute, Kibisis, and WalletConnect.

As part of our ongoing effort to maintain transparency and foster open communication, I’m here to share the highlights and key takeaways from our most recent Wallet Council meeting. This bi-monthly update aims to keep everyone in the loop and encourage your thoughts, feedback, and discussions.

Disable Voting for Passed Proposals

I second the proposal to prevent votes from being allocated to proposals which have already passed. If voters need a place to allocate “extra” votes and they don’t want to support any other proposals which have not yet passed, they can allocate those votes to the mock proposal.

Additional Considerations

In the last two sessions, we have seen a trend of xGovs voting for proposals that already got enough votes to be considered “Passed”. This may be because the voter likes the idea proposed and would like to show support. But the votes are being wasted.

I propose the following:
Disable voting for already passed proposals in a session. This will make the voting process more efficient. There is no point in giving extra votes for already passed proposals.
