Streamlining xGov Council for a High-Quality Election
Why not have another snap vote now instead of waiting? There is a consistent problem of AF failing to reiterate and act quickly based on feedback. From gov rewards, to TDR, to everything else. And, this whole xGov process has moved at the pace of a geriatric glacier. The fact that we have poor app…
Integrating Algorand into AirGap via Isolated Modules
I believe another team (including @vidhyanand) has already built the necessary integrations for AirGap, but the engineers at AirGap just have not acted.
NODERUNNER: 7-9 blocks a day on a node, then 0 for 10 hours?
It’s just statistics
The xGov Council: Shaping the future of xGov
While doxxing can help people evaluate things like credentials, it’s not a necessary component. A person that otherwise is not known to the community who claims to be some cryptographic genius may find that voluntarily doxxing helps their chances. But, for those whose actions and history in the community speak, it may not be necessary to reveal their identities.
GP14 DeFi Rewards (TDR) Proposal - Pact.Fi (Corrected)
Good points re Yieldly. But, it all kind of speaks to the larger problem of everything being subjective. Is it trade volume? Is it TVL? Is it both? Are there actual metrics, or are we just eyeballing it? Because I can find some coins that based on TVL/Volume metrics that should probably be included …
GP14 DeFi Rewards (TDR) Proposal - Algomint
The thing is that if you are incentivizing the pools of wrapped assets of the same character (BTC/BTC), then you are further disincentivizing people from contributing to the pools where real depth is needed. My gripe here is not exclusive to your projects and much of it is frustration with the Foundation's overall strategy.

GP13 Governance Measures
Agree with this 100%. It is important that we have a mechanism for pooling options like Reti to participate as xGov to counteract the potential for dominance by a few LST providers.
Discussion about funding the final development of Fry.watch, an Algorand-based blockchain explorer for onboarding users and providing redundancy
With both Lora and Algorand Observer being open-sourced (and several other options such as Allo, Blockstalker, and Bitquery also running), I do not see the justification for spending to develop another explorer (which would require even more funding to keep running).
You probably had your account in there as a “watch account” rather than imported with seeds.
When you removed the rekey, it means it needs the seeds for the original address to sign. But, if it is only added as a watch account, then it does not have the spending keys imported to do so. If you have …
Staking on algorand

GP13 DeFi rewards (TDR) Proposal - Tinyman
The discussion is about overly generous incentives for the TINY/ALGO LP. That has nothing to do with someone swapping USDC to ALGO. If anything, you are bolstering my argument which is that only core pairs should really be incentivized.
Meld Gold GP13 DeFi Rewards (TDR) Proposal
This part is important in my opinion since it helps offset some of the opportunistic degen yield farming. I agree with you also that even the stable pairings have this problem to some extent, which is part of my problem with TDR in general.
Rethinking Consensus Incentive
Testnet is essentially a copy of the same protocol as main net except that the assets don’t have “real” value. Are we going to make devs run a participation node in testnet? Or are we making the protocol different as between testnet and main net?
You pay for that burden via transaction fees.
GP13 DeFi Rewards (TDR) Proposal - AlgoRai
This could inhibit developer activity. It should be as easy as possible for devs to set up an environment and test things out. Adding roadblocks is the opposite of what we should do.
xGov Beta Framework, Draft Version
The framework says “xGov Voting Committees selection and the assignment of their voting power is performed by the Algorand Foundation, based on the selection criteria defined by ARC-0033.” However, ARC33 seems unchanged from what we had before.

Seems reasonable to me.
