Questions About Price Calculations

I understand this, however I’m still trying to understand how the price of an ASA is calculated. Perhaps the swap example isn’t a great analogy. Let’s say I want to know the price of 1 FOO. What controls the price of 1 FOO? Is it a calculation that can be performed by analyzing all transactions?

Running an Indexer with Low Latency

I have learned that geographic proximity is critical between the Indexer writer, the Postgres DB, and the Algod instance if I want low latency between my Postgres database and the blockchain. Would it still be practical to store the private data off-chain while also using Algorand to record the exchange of value? For instance, once a transaction is finalized, the private data could be stored to a centralized database. The transaction ID and public addresses could be used as a reference.

Applications of Blockchain Technology

I have recently been introduced to the many use cases for blockchain technology. One of the examples that Russ Fustino mentioned was the storage of sensor data for the automotive industry. If all data is publicly available, I foresee many instances where the manufacturer may not want this sensor data to be public.
