ASA Limit Reasons
Hi all, i was wondering about the limit of 1000 ASA per account: what’s the actual reason behind this choice? Suppose i want to develop an application on Algorand based on trading of NFTs? Is there any workaround that does not imply the use of FTs ?
ASAs "ReserveAddress"
Hi all, what does it mean that the Reserve Account (pointed by “reserve address” field) holds the “non-minted” units of an asset? Could someone explain me what they are and what’s their purpose?
TEAL Signature Mode: Dynamic Parameters
Ok i got the issue with my approach. So you suggest to use some sort of Python compiling mechanism inside my java application, so i can go from PyTeal → Teal → LogicSig, all inside my application so that every parameter is covered by the signature of the user that releases the contract, right?
Hi there, in the following example: i see there is a ‘receiver’ parameter given to the function, but this value is actually hard-coded in this specific template. I was wondering if there is a way to pass one (or more) arguments to the function using the Java SDK.
TEAL 'Foreign Apps'
Hi all, I have a little question about the PyTeal syntax. What is the purpose of defining an array of foreign apps when deploying the smart contract, if i can’t use it inside the smart contract? In fact, the PyTeal documentation says that you need to explicitly use the app-id of the external app you want to call.
Sharing LogicSig
Thank you, this was what I was searching for !
In this code line:
let b64encoded = btoa(String.fromCharCode.apply(null, lsig.toByte())); you extract the logic signature bytes, but I can’t find such a method for the LogicSignature object in the JavaSDK. I suppose it should be something like " lsig.getBytes() " for Java.
Hi there, I’m trying to implement an ASA trading application using the JavaSDK. This application uses Atomic Transfers to make sure that the buyer makes his payment transaction, and the seller actually transfers the asset (both succeed or both fail). My problem is that the payment transaction should be done in a single transaction along with the asset transfer.
Sandbox Indexer Setup
Thank you this solved my problem as well!
Thank you for answering. I’ve set up the sandbox and launched it with the ‘sandnet’ so that i could start using the V2 indexer to try out its features. My problem is that after i made some transactions on the net (using the default accounts provided with the private network) the indexer does not find my transactions. Maybe i’m doing something wrong, but after starting the Algorand Sandbox i’ve entered the algod docker image (with ‘./sandbox enter algod’) and changed the node to become an archival node in order to use the indexer service (did this by modifying the config.json file key “Archival: true”). After that, I was not able to see the transactions made.
