question : why does the AFoundation try to reduce the quarterly rewards EVERY governance vote? why not just keep it at 70.5M algos, and let governors vote on how to split between defi, vanilla, …?

Exactly. Not sure why they won’t clearly clarify what the remaining balance will be used for. Do they intend to extend beyond 2030? Will they use them for other stuff? In either case, they should provide the community with a clear & detailed update, and update the tokenomics to reflect the same.

agreed. that would be the better way for the foundation to do it. On Measure 1: they should first explain why algos meant for ‘Community & Governance Rewards’ are being reallocated to other stuff (the ‘Ecosystem Grants’ allocation that you mention should be catered for under ‘Ecosystem Support’)
