How to win the Global x402 Challenge
Ship a paid x402 endpoint, generate real on-chain usage, and compete for prizes.
Deploy & track
Launch a paid x402 endpoint on Algorand Mainnet. Payments verify and settle through the GoPlausible facilitator, so your activity is automatically tracked in a leaderboard.
Submit
Submit your project details: what the payment unlocks and proof of who is paying for it.
Compete
The top 50 on the leaderboard are considered for the 10 finalist spots, who present live at Devcon 8 India to win.

1st place: 25K USD
2nd place: 22.5K USD
3rd place: 20K USD
4th place: 17.5K USD
5th place: 15K USD
Top 20 leaderboard pool
500K ALGO distributed across the top 20 endpoints.
Projects will be evaluated on real usage, use case quality, technical execution, and long-term potential. More details about the evaluation criteria can be found in the Official Rules.
Timeline
1) Mid-July: The challenge officially opens
Ship your endpoint on Algorand Mainnet.
2) July-early October: Build + activate
Drive real usage and volume, and submit to enter.
3) October: Live measurement + finalist shortlisting
Leaderboard runs live; volume measured over an unannounced window. The leaderboard is reviewed, and finalists are selected.
4) Early November: Global x402 Challenge Finals - live from Devcon 8 in India
Finalists present live and winners are announced.
